Charlie began the celebration of his two month mark with a visit to the pediatrician to get his first round of shots. He continues his achievements on all fronts, weighing in at 13 lbs, 4 oz (89th percentile) and measuring 25 inches (98th percentile). Such growth! Charlie managed the shots with only limited crying, and no doubt they were tougher for his parents than for him. What a brave little man!

Charlie celebrated the rest of his birthday with a walk through the neighborhood, which naturally included picking up a couple of powerball tickets so he can get a jump on college tuition savings (and whatever else $1.5 billion will buy you). Then snoozing and starting his political education with the president's final state of the union.
Though wary of wading into the political fray, Charlie has already forged a strong connection to the current president, thanks to a special gift from Uncle Jon Herczeg, White House policymaker extraordinaire.
