Charlie's First Blizzard

Charlie enjoyed last weekend's blizzard in style, sporting his patagonia vest from Aunt Amy Koch (who in LA never would have need for such warm clothing!), and from the comfort of his apartment.  Snow day activities including airplane-style tummy time with Dad, napping, eating, reading the Koch brothers piece in the New Yorker, and being the only one in the house to change out of his pajamas.  While at 26.8 inches, the storm may not have set the record, the snow measurement just exceeds Charlie's current length, so perhaps it was for the best that he didn't offer to be the official measuring stick for fear of being lost in the snow.

On Sunday, Charlie ventured out to Central Park to enjoy the winter wonderland, "helping" his dad make a snow angel.  While Charlie no doubt enjoyed the scenery (while mostly snoozing the whole time), Mickey was really the snow champion, bounding through snow drifts much taller than he.  We'll have to wait for next winter for Charlie to be up for such frolicking!
